Take part in a survey on revalidation

The NMC is set to consult on and review our proceedures for ensuring nurses and midwives are fit to practise - a process we call revalidation.

We're looking for information about:

  • Your area of work, job type, sector and status (full time/part time)
  • Whether or not you have an annual appraisal, if you feel it should be a requirement for staying on the register, and if it should include feedback from patients
  • Frequency and format of submission of evidence to support fitness to practise (revalidation)

This is an initial scoping exercise and an opportunity for nurses and midwives to start contributing to this important piece of work from a very early stage. The survey will only take about 5 minutes and will be on our website until 15 December.
